Korean handset manufacturer Pantech was showing a new GSM handset at CeBIT, one that hasn't been officially announced yet. This new slider phone, the G-3900, is, according to a Pantech spokesman, going to be announced in Q3 of this year and will initially be available in the Russian and South American markets.
The G-3900 weighs only 90g (3.2oz) and measures up at 90mm x 42mm x 16.9mm (3.5" x 1.7" x .7"). It has a 1.9" 262k color TFT display with a 176x220 pixel resolution. It uses a metal keypad design that is somewhat similar to those found in Motorola's SLVR and RAZR models.
Other features found in the G-3900 include a 2 megapixel CMOS camera, an email client, Bluetooth support, and well as support for video recording and the playing of music files. You'll also find a speakerphone and USB connectivity.
No word on a specific release date or any sort of pricing information.
