Présenté au Cebit 2004, Un nouveau type de mobile est né chez Siemens.

CeBIT 2004: In the area of innovations/studies, Siemens mobile is for the first time presenting a tri-band mobile phone offering all the features of a standard phone packaged in an unusual shape. Siemens mobile’s PenPhone will let users write virtual telephone numbers on anything and enter them in that form. But that’s not all: thanks to the PenPhone’s integrated handwriting recognition facility, they can write their SMS messages directly into the mobile phone. Whatever they use to write on, the PenPhone will interpret their hand movements as written words and translate them directly into the SMS editor. It couldn’t be faster or more simple. 140 mm long and 19 mm in diameter, the “pen” will set new standards in miniaturization and convenience in mobile communication.
