Today Sanyo announced the newest addition to their 8000 series mobile phone lineup, the Sprint Power Vision SCP-8400. The Sanyo SCP-8400 is a stylishly designed clamshell that packs quite a multimedia punch.

Apart from looking good, the Sanyo SCP-8400 comes equipped with a microSD memory card slot that backs up the handset's 1.3 megapixel camera and built-in MP3/AAC music player application. The Sprint Power Vision multimedia application will allow users to view streaming tv or videos on the SCP-8400's bright 2", 240x320 pixel QVGA TFT display. Listening to audio can be done either on the device's built-in speakerphone, or with the included stereo headset.

Other highlights of the Sanyo SCP-8400 include a parental control application that allows mom or dad to limit incoming and outgoing calls in a number of ways. A couple of additional features of note are the included 64MB microSD card, and Bluetooth. Sanyo has also included FaceMasks with the SCP-8400. FaceMasks allow the users to easily change the look of their phone by snapping a new faceplate on their phone to create a whole new look. Each SCP-8400 ships with one FaceMask and is available in the following colors: midnight black with blue FaceMask, electric blue with black FaceMask, and powder white with metallic lavender FaceMask.

The Sanyo SCP-8400 will be available October 1 through Sprint retail stores and Sprint.com for US$279.99, or US$99.99 after mail-in rebates with a two-year agreement.

Pas mal l'exterieur, Le bleu métal foncé on commence à s'y habituer avec Sanyo
Fin bon s'il est tout aussi puissant que les Sanyo que j'ai vu ben ça promet^^

D'une mocheté, c'est pas possible... Ce doit être un prototype tout droit sorti de la fin des années 80 et donc forcément très avance sur son époque, c'est la seule explication que j'ai.

Pour rester objectif le telephone est plutot classic , visiblement c'est une sorte de house qui a cette belle couleur bleu metal; :e telephone n'a rien d'extraordinaire je trouve, il fonctionne en CDMA c'est a dire l'equivalent de notre GPRS en france donc pas de 3G pour un mobile japonais c'est quand meme pas tres fort et puis tout le reste et soit deja vu ou soit depassé.
Apres je ne veut pas critiquer ce telephone car il surement positionné en milieu de gamme dans son pays...
De la a en faire une news par contre, on pourrai en poster des centaines comme ca il me semble, d'autant que l'interet de ce tel est assez limité pour nous.

Oui cela est vrai qu'il fonctionne aux states , ça me fais penser aux multiple déclinaisoon du v3 la bas ( v3 -> v3c , v3r , v3m )

Sanyo a l'air d'etre bien présent la bas contrairement a chez nous.
